This task involved me visiting a place and create a poster communicating my interpretation of the suburb. My chosen suburb is black rock, focusing on Half Moon Bay. Half Moon Bay is a calm, gentle and shallow beach that is shape as a half moon crescent. The varied textures were the first thing that caught my eye and I want to convey that in my posters. Therefore, I constructed a college by compiling various texture images of the sky, rocks and ocean into one image. My colour palette consists of two colours in my poster blue and yellow because I want the main focus to the the textures. To mimic the wavy look of the ocean, I used Marola typography and added a the same blue shadow for the text to pop. To balance the poster, the balance typography is a san serif called Menlo.
